JAW CRUSHER SERIES

The jaw crusher above is designed for the motor sizes listed in RPG and technical specifications. This means that for harder materials, the crusher will have to be operated at larger settings to avoid overload of drive and/or motor. Using oversized motors will lead to radically shorter crusher life and various mechanical problems.

How Does a Jaw Crusher Work

A fixed jaw, mounted in a V-shaped alignment, is the stationary breaking surface, while a movable, "swing" jaw exerts force on the feed material by pushing it against the stationary plate. The space at the bottom of the "V"-aligned jaw plates is the output gap that dictates the size of the crushed product from the jaw crusher.
