I collect old machine tools, and I bought a very cherry old Black and Decker valve grinder that came with what I will guess to be 1940s Van Dorn portable seat grinder. Everthing is complete with the exception of the 11/32s pilot. The pilot itself is there, but it has a small, three fingered expansion device at the end of it, and it's broken.

I have an old Van Dorn (Black & Decker) valve and tool grinder that I'm trying to refurbish/restore. Except that I think I have the only one in existence! According to Google, there is zero information on this unit online. According to Black & Decker, it was obsoleted and no longer supported as of 1954 or so.

I mean, a grinder's a grinder. Depending on the model of valve grinder, wheels can be anything from 3" to 6". I have an older Van Dorn "Valve and tool grinder" (forties vintage- I could use some parts if anyone has some) that can use up to 6" wheels, and I have a Sioux 645 that uses 4" wheels.
