I have a b50 cs bell grinder and it needs a slow feed to work or it too will bog down and stop. Corn is just tough stuff. I have a 1 1/2 stover economy driving that one and usually what will happen is that even though the engine can handle the load, the belt invariably slips off the pulleys when too much load (ie. too fast a feed) hits it.
