The film lifetime in MIBC and 0.1 M NaCl solutions was extracted from Wang and Yoon (2006). From the figure, the film stability is seen to enhance steadily with increasing MIBC concentration when the system contains 1 ppm PAX. This indicates that the higher MIBC concentration causes slower drainage.
